The Yakult El Salvador Manufacturing Plant in El Salvador City, Misamis Oriental will finally start operations sometime in September this year. This was revealed following the recent visit by Japan Consul General Yoshihisa Ishikawa at the company’s newest plant located in Barangay Quibonbon. This facility is expected to produce 1.6 million bottles daily at the start of operations and a maximum production capacity of 3.2 million bottles daily of the world’s leading probiotic milk beverage.

The manufacturing complex sits on a 4.17-hectare property and is 40% larger than its first plant in Calamba, Laguna.
