Here are more aerial photos of the old Cagayan de Misamis (present day Cagayan de Oro) taken in the 1930s. The aerial survey seemed to be part of the planned landing field of what is now Camp Evangelista (Barangay Patag). Carmen Proper used to be a rice field. First photo shows the proposed airstrip (Patag) and the Poblacion in the background. Carmen shown is a vast rice field. This was taken in 1935.
Here’s a another photo showing the opposite side looking west taken about a year after. Based on the marking, this was taken in late 1936.
