PROGRESS WATCH: Metro Cagayan de Oro and Northern Mindanao

Firemen in Cagayan de Oro City were able to free a dog which got stuck in a metal fence in Bulua, Cagayan de Oro City last Wednesday, June 7. A netizen had earlier sought assistance from the Bureau of Fire and Protection (BFP) after seeing the dog got stuck while trying to pass through a metal fence. As per report from Cyril Chaves of GMA Regional TV, the dog suffered wounds from the fence’s pointed spikes while breaking free. It took the firemen nearly 10 minutes to free the dog.
