While pets are allowed at the CDO River Boulevard, the Technical Working Group (TWG) is warning pet owners to clean up after a public walk. This after receiving reports that pet wastes are just being left behind. TWG head Atty. Jose Edgardo Uy said pet owners should be responsible enough to clean up after their pets to maintain the boulevard’s cleanliness.
During its last meeting, it was disclosed that the TWG has agreed to enforce a policy requiring owners to have their pets wear diapers when having a public walk at the boulevard. Meanwhile, the City Veterinary Office (CVO) will also be conducting an operation against stray animals at the boulevard. Atty Uy also encouraged owners to have their pets leashed when entering the boulevard so they won’t be mistaken as stray by the CVO. – from CIO
