Aboitiz Power Corp. through a disclosure at the Philippine Stock Exchange (PSE) has acquired an additional 167 million shares of STEAG State Power, Inc. or 35.4% more stake of the company that operates a coal-fired thermal power plant in Misamis Oriental. With this development, AboitizPower now holds a 69.4% equity interest of the said company.
