A US-based building materials company has invested $100 million for an engineered bamboo manufacturing facility in Cagayan de Oro City, Philippines. Among Rizome Philippines’ manufactured products include panels, boards, and veneers. It buys bamboo from agrarian reform beneficiaries in Bukidnon, North Cotabato, and the Agusan and Surigao provinces.
Rizome currently operates a plant along Malasag Road in Cugman, Cagayan de Oro City.
