It is now confirmed that the newly constructed River Boulevard of the FRIMP-CDOR Contract Package 2 will be inaugurated tomorrow, May 26, 2023 with Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) Secretary Manuel M. Bonoan and representatives from the Embassy of Japan, Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA), City Government of Cagayan de Oro and community leaders. This River Boulevard will soon be one of the iconic areas in the “City of the Golden Friendship” Cagayan de Oro City.
Further, reports state that while the river boulevard will be inaugurated, opening it to vehicular traffic has been reset to next week but the roadway will be open to pedestrians, joggers and those who like to exercise like brisk walking.
