Netizens call him God’s instrument but Seaman 1st Class Ricky Jay Gomez of the 621st Naval Squadron Reserve Force of the Philippine Navy was praised for saving the life of a drowning little girl at a resort in Clarin, Misamis Occidental last Sunday, May 14, 2023. He was just visiting when he responded to the emergency, never gave up on the victim and finally revived the little girl thru mouth-to-mouth resuscitation and chest compressions. After the girl was revived, she was immediately rushed to the nearest hospital. Many stated that Gomez was God’s instrument to save the girl. Coincidentally, his Facebook account has the words “Never Give Up” as intro.
Lesson learned, never take your eyes off on your children when you’re at a pool. Watch below.
