Misamis Oriental’s Janry Ubas who won the gold medal in men’s long jump and set the new Philippine long jump record as well in the just concluded 32nd SEA Games in Cambodia is back in the country and visited the congressional office of Misamis Oriental 2nd District Rep. Yevgeny Vincente “Bambi” Emano.
Ubas, who is a native of Dayawan, Villanueva town set the new Philippine record in long jump of 8.08 meters. He also brought home a silver medal in decathlon.
Meanwhile, Cong. Bambi assured Ubas of his constant support as he continues his journey in his hope to gain more awards in his future tournaments.
