Fisherfolk in Barangay Casul in Sapang Dalaga, Misamis Occidental believed it was a blessing when hundreds of Herring Fish locally known as “malangsi” gathered at the baywalk to be caught. A video by Mico Cabahug has gone trending in Facebook which showed live fish along the concrete portion of the baywalk in the morning of May 4, 2023. Local residents immediately brought baskets, nets and other containers to gather the fish. Watch below.
