Cagayan de Oro City students once again represented the country and bagged special awards in the Guangdong-Hongkong-Macau Greater Bay Area International Mathematical Olympiad (Big Bay Bei) 2023 Final Round held last March 25, 2023. Results of the said math event were just released recently and fourteen (14) talented students from various schools in the city received awards led by 1st Prize Awardees Shadi Kent Al Hamoud of Corpus Christi School and Rey Stephen Chua of Xavier University Senior High School.
