Aboitiz InfraCapital Inc. (AIC), the infrastructure arm of the Aboitiz Group is hopeful they can is hoping they can finally bag contracts from the government to operate and maintain Laguindingan Airport and two other regional airports this year amid the resurgence of travel.
It can be recalled AIC submitted a PHP 42.7 billion project proposal for the main gateway of Northern Mindanao which involves a capacity augmentation program that includes the renovation and expansion of existing facilities including the passenger terminal building, installation of required equipment, and enhancement and development of airside facilities for a concession period of 35 years.
