It’s the early stage of the full moon in April tonight and the so-called “Pink Moon” is very much visible with clear skies over Cagayan de Oro. Here’s a snapshot taken by Herbert Willkomm III.

The full moon was already visible even before sunset.

Actually, the moon isn’t really pink in color. The pink comes from the springtime blooms of creeping phlox, a pink flower common in North America. Read The Old Farmer’s Almanac.
