University of Science and Technology of Southern Philippines (USTP) System President Dr. Ambrosio B. Cultura II together with PHIVIDEC Industrial Authority (PHIVIDEC-IA) Acting Deputy Administrator Engr. Alberto Jude S. Montes and Villanueva Mayor Jennie Uy-Mendez recently led the formal groundbreaking ceremony of the new USTP Villanueva Campus located in Sitio Kirahon, Barangay San Martin, Villanueva, Misamis Oriental last March 21, 2023.
The 21st Century 5-storey building will be part of the proposed Villanueva Science and Technology (S&T) Park which is the 3rd S&T Park of the university system along with the AGILA S&T Park in Alubijid, Misamis Oriental and Agropolis S&T Park in Claveria, Misamis Oriental.
