Municipal officials led by Mayor Alexis S. Quina inaugurated the New Balingasag Public Market today, March 8, 2023. The new market has total floor area of 4,594.86 sqm and was built on a 8,946.26 sqm property. It has 303 total stalls (Fish Section 54, Meat Section 22, Vegetable Section 57, Fruit Section 30, Grocery Section 60, Dry Goods 37, Cafeteria 9, Dried Fish Section 9, and Salted Fish Section 10).
