The Bukidnon Transport Multi-Purpose Cooperative (BUKTRAMCO) recently launched fifteen (15) modernized PUJ class II, 22-seater units that will ply the Quezon-Malaybalay City and vice-versa route at the Provincial Capitol Grounds in Malaybalay City.


Attending the official launch were Office of the Transport Cooperative (OTC) Chairman Jesus Ferdinand De Perio Ortega, Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board Regional Office 10 (LTFRB-10) Regional Director Aminoden D. Guro, Municipality of Quezon Vice Mayor Joseph Durutan, Development Bank of the Philippines (DPB) Senior Vice President and Group Head for Northern Mindanao Seño S. Clarisma and BUKTRAMCO Chairman, Mr. Melvin Erederos.




Also present during the event were Executive Assistant for the Office of the Governor of Bukidnon Province, Atty. Romuel Roque, Executive Assistant for the Office of the Mayor of Valencia City, Mr. Marven Selecios, LTFRB-10 team headed by LTFRB 10 Financial Analyst, Ms. Marianne C. Ulep, and representatives from various Transport Service Entities (TSE) in the region.

The launching was in line with the government’s Public Utility Vehicle Modernization Program which aims to provide a more comfortable and safer public land transport experience while ensuring decent livelihoods to drivers and operators.
