Personnel of the Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB-10) recently made a surprise inspection at Cagayan de Oro Port in Macabalan in response to complaints that some taxi drivers are overcharging passengers and resorting to contracting. Inspectors made sure that passengers riding taxis going to Agora Terminal and other destinations in the city were boarded properly and were not being charged with unreasonable fare rates.
