Three (3) initial units of twenty-two-seater (22) modernized PUJs by the Balulang Transport Service Cooperative (TSC) are now plying the Balulang – Cogon Market and vice-versa route in compliance to the government’s Public Utility Vehicle Modernization Program (PUVMP). Commuters can locate their terminal at Ororama Cogon along Mortola Street.
The route will start at Villa Verde Subdivision in Balulang then via Balulang Road, then to M. Velez Street (Macanhan Road), Kagay-an Bridge, Rodelsa Circle, turn right to Fernandez Street, left to Corrales Avenue, right to Hayes Street towards Cogon. On its return, it will be via Nazareth then back to Kagay-an Bridge to Macanhan-Balulang.
The 3 new modern PUJ units will ply the Balulang R2 route as per approved Local Public Transport Route Plan (LPTRP) per LTFRB Memorandum Circular No. 2023-003 dated January 18, 2023. More units are also set to be deployed soon to cover the following routes.
The units will be air-conditioned and have CCTV cameras.
