The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH-10) has advised that the Kapalong-Talaingod-Valencia Road in Bukidnon is now ONE LANE PASSABLE TO LIGHT VEHICLES. It can be recalled that a section of the said road at Sitio Balacayo, Brgy. Kalagangan, San Fernando, Bukidnon (K1544 + 900) collapsed early today. The traveling public using heavy vehicles such as heavily loaded vans, cargo trucks, buses, and multi-axle trucks are advised to take the alternate Bukidnon – Davao (BUDA) Road.
The DPWH Bukidnon 1st District Engineering Office has mobilized its heavy equipment in conducting temporary repair works and is in close coordination with LGU San Fernando to implement other necessary interventions.
