Bukidnon boxer TKOs Japanese champ; becomes PH new world champion

The Philippines has a new world boxing champion after Melvin Jerusalem of Manolo Fortich, Bukidnon dethroned Japanese titleholder Masataka Taniguchi via technical knockout in the 2nd round to claim the WBO minimumweight title at the EDION Arena in Osaka, Japan tonight. Congratulations!
