The picturesque 642-hectare Communal Ranch, the only local government owned ranch in the country located in Capitan Bayong, Impasug-ong, Bukidnon recently went trending in social media after circulating photos of a seemingly crowded place during the holiday break with visitors, vehicles, motorcycles and visible tire tracks in the wide grassy area where only footprints of guests and horses are usually found. The famed Communal Ranch became popular due to its New Zealand-vibe with a relatively wide flat terrain, a man-made pond and a cowboys’ quarters amid a mountainous background. It was also where the movie “Love Me Again” starring Piolo Pascual and Angel Locsin was filmed. It also became a favorite spot for photoshoots.

Activities at the Ranch includes a rodeo, horseback riding, trail riding, hiking to the waterfall, camping, and other outdoor activities.

Prior to the trending photos, the Communal Ranch has been pictured as a serene place for nature lovers with the mountain backdrop. Never was it so crowded with a fiesta atmosphere with many vehicles.
