Read the names of the heroes engraved in the six faces of the stones.
Some of the names in the list of heroes have streets named after them like Apolinar Velez, Echem, Nacalaban, Akut, Cruz Taal, Toribio Chaves, Pabayo and many others.

Meanwhile, the monument is included in the proposed Historical Trail of Cagayan de Oro – Misamis Oriental – Camiguin by Rep. Rufus Rodriguez who plans to restore the memorial, including developing the existing text in order to make it clearer and easier to read by visiting tourists. He will also restore the lights and add more to make the Shrine very visible and attractive specially in the evening. Additionally, an impressive marker will be installed along Masterson Avenue that will lead to the Memorial.
