Another Pedestrian Overpass Project is being proposed along Sayre Highway in Puerto, Cagayan de Oro City, to connect Puerto Public Market and TH Cagayan Puerto. With a proposed budget of ₱20 million, the project aims to improve pedestrian safety along this busy highway, particularly for shoppers, commuters, and residents crossing the road near Gaisano Puerto and TH Cagayan, where buses and trucks also pass daily. The project is among those included in the Department of Public Works and Highways’ (DPWH) proposed National Expenditure Program (NEP) under the Off-Carriageway Improvement category of its Network Development Program.
