The continuing construction of the CDO-Laguindingan Mountain Diversion Road includes a ₱96.5-million project for the opening of a 650-meter road section with gravel surfacing in Barangay Pagatpat, Cagayan de Oro City. As of October 2026, the project is undergoing the procurement process. Once implemented, it will form part of ongoing efforts to develop the alternative route connecting Cagayan de Oro City and Laguindingan, Misamis Oriental, aimed at improving road accessibility and providing motorists with another travel option.
