Plaridel, Misamis Occidental, officially welcomed OceanJet’s maiden voyage on Friday, October 23, marking the launch of a new fastcraft route connecting the municipality to Siquijor and Bohol. Supported by OceanJet, local and provincial government officials, and the Philippine Ports Authority, the new sea link is expected to improve connectivity between Mindanao and the Visayas while creating more opportunities for tourism and regional travel.
