The Municipality of Malitbog in Bukidnon will soon have a modern evacuation center following the groundbreaking ceremony held today, October 16, 2026, led by Senator Juan Miguel Zubiri, Congressman Joeman Alba, and Mayor Gary Casiño. With a project cost of ₱49,489,934.76, the facility will be constructed in Barangay Poblacion and will serve as a safe shelter for residents during disasters and emergencies, helping protect lives and ensure the safety of the community.
The scope of the initial funding covers concrete footings and column pedestals, furnish and erection of steel columns and beams.
