₱35-M ube investment project targets US export market for Bukidnon farmers

Bukidnon ube farmers will benefit from a ₱35-million, five-year investment project formalized through a partnership between the Department of Agriculture Regional Field Office No. 10, Verueco Ventures Corp., and farmer associations in Lantapan and Talakag on October 5, 2026. The initiative aims to produce around 1.5 million kilograms of ube annually, providing farmers with quality planting materials, farm inputs, technical assistance, and an assured market. The harvested ube will be processed into powder in Batangas for export to the United States, opening international market opportunities for local farmers.
