A Beechcraft B300 King Air 350 (registered RP-C2226)—reportedly carrying Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) Secretary Vince Dizon—became only the second aircraft to land at the new Bukidnon Airport in Barangay Maraymaray, Don Carlos, Bukidnon, when it touched down at around 2:25 PM on October 13, 2026. It follows a Gulfstream G150 private jet (registered RP-C8150 / RP-C1850) as the only other plane to use the runway after its arrival on January 30, 2026. Although the runway can already accommodate turboprops and light aircraft, the airport is not yet operational as the air traffic control tower, and other key support facilities remain under construction.
