A ₱28.95-million drainage system will be installed along the 765-meter Punta–Macabalan section of the Cagayan de Oro Coastal Road, with project completion targeted within six months. Funded through the Special Purpose Fund under the 2026 General Appropriations Act (GAA), the project will help manage rainwater and prevent water buildup along the road, improving its safety and long-term use.
