Indian IT company Cognizant Technology Solutions Corp. is studying the possibility of expanding its operations to Cagayan de Oro, as part of its planned Philippine expansion in the next three years. The Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) said Cognizant may bring high-value technology services to the country, including artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, digital engineering, and Global Capability Centers, with Cagayan de Oro among the cities being considered for new sites.
Cognizant is currently operating across seven sites in Taguig, Quezon City, Cebu, Dumaguete and Dagupan, with more than 13,900 direct jobs.
