Northern Mindanao showcased its technical and vocational excellence at the WorldSkills Philippines Clark 2026, bringing home one gold, one silver, and two Medallions for Excellence in various skill areas. Raniel P. Beronilla of Skunk Works OPC, representing TESDA Region X, captured the Gold Medal in Artificial Intelligence, earning the chance to represent the Philippines and Northern Mindanao at the upcoming WorldSkills International in Shanghai, China. Darwin P. Lapad of COBSAT won the Silver Medal in Automobile Technology, while Joshua Emerson F. Lopez of MSU-IIT and Chris Julmar P. Baoc of the Regional Training Center–Iligan received Medallions for Excellence in Mechanical Engineering CAD and Welding, respectively.
