USTP Jasaan has marked a historic milestone with the groundbreaking ceremony of its five-storey SMART Building, the campus’ first major government-funded infrastructure project. Funded under the 2026 General Appropriations Act, Phase 1 received ₱70 million and is expected to address the campus’ limited learning spaces while providing students with improved, technology-equipped facilities. University officials along with Deputy Speaker Bambi Emano, and Jasaan Mayor Redentor Jardin highlighted the project as an investment in education, community development, and the future of students from Jasaan and neighboring towns.
