The Enthronement and Solemn Blessing of the Our Lady of Stella Maris image was held on July 30 at Puntod Shoal, off Kai Azul Resort in Barangay San Juan, Gingoog City, as part of the Stella Maris Underwater Marian Sanctuary Project. The initiative seeks to promote faith tourism and devotion while supporting marine conservation and environmental stewardship, with the underwater Marian image envisioned as a unique attraction that can boost eco-tourism and awareness of marine ecosystem protection.
