A thief stole a gamefowl from a residence in Barangay Cogon, El Salvador City, at around 2:40 a.m. on July 31, 2026, amid heavy rain after cutting through the property’s fence to gain entry. CCTV footage shared by netizen Agot Gaid showed the suspect first casing the house before entering the premises a few moments later to untie and take the rooster. The suspect quickly fled with the gamefowl after the family’s dog started barking. The incident has been reported to the police for investigation.
