The Cagayan de Oro Roads and Traffic Administration (RTA) has reminded motorists that Traffic Violation Notices for unattended vehicles are being issued to vehicles found illegally parked along public roads. Under City Ordinance No. 10551-2007, vehicle owners with unpaid traffic violation tickets may be barred from renewing their vehicle registration with the Land Transportation Office (LTO) until all violations are settled and an RTA clearance is obtained. The RTA has also submitted to the LTO a list of vehicle plate numbers with unsettled traffic violation tickets for the implementation of the registration hold.
