The Misamis Occidental provincial government is pushing forward with a new major infrastructure project, the 6,400-capacity Asenso Cultural and Sports Dome in Clarin, designed to host sports, cultural events, conventions, and community gatherings. The five-storey facility will sit on a 3,550-square-meter site and is part of the province’s broader development agenda. Governor Henry S. Oaminal and Clarin Mayor Riza Oaminal de los Santos recently led the groundbreaking ceremony last June 15. Local officials also aim to integrate solar energy features and complete the project by 2027.

Plans allocate approximately 2,400 seats for theater-style events and around 4,000 seats for sporting competitions and other large gatherings.

Here’s another perspective of the Asenso Cultural and Sports Dome Project.
