CRIME WATCH: ₱1.677M stolen in daylight ambush of South Bank employees in Manolo Fortich

Armed robbers stole ₱1.677 million after ambushing three South Bank Libona employees along Camp Fabia Road, Barangay Damilag, Manolo Fortich, Bukidnon at around 9:40 a.m. on June 17, 2026. Police said the suspects, riding a Ford Ranger Wildtrak, blocked the victims’ vehicle while they were transporting cash for deposit at Land Bank Manolo Fortich and opened fire, forcing the vehicle into a canal. The driver and security guard returned fire but ran out of ammunition, allowing the suspects to seize the cash and escape. The three employees, including a female staff member, were unharmed, while authorities continue their manhunt and investigation.

The site is also known as the San Miguel–Camp Phillips Road, which connects Camp Phillips to the Del Monte Golf Course.
