A new three-storey National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) Regional Office Building has officially broken ground in Poblacion, El Salvador City, marking the first-ever NBI-owned facility in the region. Led by NBI Director Atty. Melvin Matibag, NBI NEMRO Regional Director Atty. Patricio Bernales Jr., and El Salvador City officials, the project will rise on a property donated by the City Government of El Salvador and aims to provide a modern and more efficient facility to strengthen investigative operations and public services. The NBI will continue holding office at the Provincial Capitol Compound while construction is ongoing.
