The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH)-10 has bid out another road concreting project for the Punta–Macabalan section of the Cagayan de Oro Coastal Road, covering two segments with a total length of 339 meters. The P31.7-million project covers the remaining major portion of the coastal road connecting to the ongoing Macabalan–Bonbon Bridge and Viaduct Project.

As shown below, Section A spans 40 meters, while Section B covers 299 meters and directly connects to the viaduct.

The final alignment of the Punta–Macabalan Section has already been established under previous project funding, as shown below.
