A 34-year-old woman from Bukidnon was arrested after allegedly attempting to smuggle suspected shabu into the Cagayan de Oro City Jail in Lumbia while visiting her detained husband. The contraband, reportedly concealed in her private area, was discovered during a consented strip search, resulting in the seizure of more than 12.5 grams of suspected drugs valued at approximately ₱82,960. Recovered items included three sachets of suspected shabu, aluminum foil, cigarette packs, empty sachets, an improvised tooter, and other drug paraphernalia. “Honelyn” is now in police custody and will face charges under the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act.
