Planning to trek Mount Anggas this Holy Week? From April 1–5, all trekkers entering Mount Anggas in Barangay Gregorio Pelaez in Gitagum, Misamis Oriental are required to pay a ₱30 temporary Environmental User Fee, with no exemptions. Camping remains prohibited during this period. The standard ₱250 registration and trekking fee will resume after Holy Week. Signed by Gitagum Mayor April Rose Dablio, Executive Order No. 16, series of 2026 seeks to promote environmental management and ensure safe, organized trekking at Mount Anggas.
