Liceo de Cagayan University unleashed a decisive 19–3 run spanning the late third and early fourth quarters to pull away from Loverz Gadgets of Zamboanga del Sur, securing a 113–98 victory and a spot in the Division 3 Finals of the NBTC National Finals. The game was tied at 74 with under a minute left in the third quarter before Liceo surged ahead, 93–77, and maintained control the rest of the way. They face GM Botor x Troops Hoops Cavite in the final later at 2:00 PM today at the MOA Arena.
Micoh Kurt Idulsa, earlier selected for the NBTC All-Star Game, ranks sixth in tournament scoring, averaging 23.7 points per game.
