The Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) has released a new ₱100 coin celebrating the Kaamulan Festival, highlighting the rich heritage and unity of Bukidnon’s seven indigenous groups in Malaybalay City. Part of the Philippine Festivals Commemorative Coin Series, the coin’s design captures the vibrant culture and traditions of the region. Collectors can purchase the coin for ₱5,000 starting March 19, 2026 at the BSP Pop-up Store at Kaamulan Capitol Grounds in Kaamulan Park, and it will also be available from March 26, 2026 at the BSP main store. Developed in collaboration with the Department of Tourism and the National Commission for Culture and the Arts, the project ensures cultural authenticity in every detail, honoring the festival while preserving the identity and traditions of Bukidnon’s indigenous communities for future generations.
