The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH-10) has completed the asphalt overlay of the four-lane, 460-meter permanent detour road near Overview Park in Palacapao, Quezon, Bukidnon. The section, which collapsed in October 2025 and disrupted travel for motorists bound to and from Bukidnon and Davao, was reopened to traffic in January and is now fully passable to all types of vehicles, restoring smooth and normal traffic flow between Northern Mindanao and the Davao Region.
