The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) Bukidnon 1st District Engineering Office and the Local Government Unit of Impasugong have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) for the implementation of the 25.43-kilometer Link Road 1 under the Mindanao Transport Connectivity Improvement Project (MTCIP). Entirely located within Impasugong, the road will begin at Sayre Highway and reconnect to the same highway further north, passing through Barangays Cawayan, Kibenton, and La Fortuna. The project is designed to enhance mobility, strengthen road connectivity, and improve access to essential services and economic opportunities for communities across the municipality.

Link Road 1 is located entirely within Impasug-ong with a total length of 25.43 kilometers. It starts at Sayre Highway and loops back to Sayre Highway further north passing through Brgys. Cawayan, Kibenton, and La Fortuna.
