The new Passenger Terminal Building and Light Craft and Yacht Landing Facility at Benoni Port in Camiguin are nearing completion. Transportation Secretary Giovanni Lopez and Philippine Ports Authority (PPA) General Manager Jay Santiago recently inspected the project and directed its expedited completion to help boost tourism. Set for completion in June 2026, the upgraded and modernized facilities are expected to enhance passenger comfort, accommodate more yachts, provide temporary shelter for stranded travelers during calamities, and ensure safer voyages through fully operational port equipment.
