A new scenic upland route is now open in Libertad, Misamis Oriental. The newly completed Tangcub–Taytayan Road, locally known as the “Breath Point,” connects the barangays of Tangcub and Taytayan, about six kilometers from the National Highway. Once a rough and difficult trail, the road has been upgraded into a two-lane concrete roadway with shoulders, making it accessible to all types of vehicles. Aside from improving mobility for residents, the project is also emerging as a new destination for visitors seeking fresh air, peaceful surroundings, and panoramic mountain views.
Here’s the location of Breath Point.

Check out some scenery during weekdays.

…And during weekends…

Local officials have reminded visitors to properly manage and dispose of their waste to help keep the area clean and protected.
