Lester Ian C. Datiles of Cagayan de Oro City placed second in the Under-21 Men’s Division at the recent 2026 PSC–WAP National Team and National Youth Team Selection Event held January 27 to February 1 at STI Gold Toe Archery Center in Marikina City. Competing against top young archers nationwide, he showcased strong consistency, composure, and technique throughout the five-day event. A former member of the 2025 Philippine National Youth Team and the country’s sole U21 representative at the World Archery Youth Championships in Canada, Datiles’ latest achievement highlights both his continued growth as an athlete and the rising archery talent from Northern Mindanao.
