Preparations for the Northern Mindanao Regional Athletic Association (NMRAA) Regional Meet 2026 are gaining momentum as water has now been supplied to the swimming pool at the Bukidnon Sports Complex in Barangay Laguitas, Malaybalay City. This development marks a key step in readying the venue for the March 18–24 event, which will be sponsored by the Provincial Government of Bukidnon. The meet will also be the first major sporting event to be hosted at the sports complex.
Local officials along with security and emergency units have already started coordination meetings for the regional meet.
