Van Ian Monteza drilled a game-winning floater with 0.3 seconds left, lifting the Liceo de Cagayan University Titans of Cagayan de Oro to an 83–81 win over Harbor Pilot of Oroquieta and a spot in the finals of the NBTC Mindanao Regional Championship at the Bayfront Arena in Oroquieta City. Micoh Kurt Idulsa paced Liceo with 24 points as the Titans also secured a berth in the SMART-NBTC 2026 National Finals set for March 23–29, 2026, at the MOA Arena. Liceo will face RSY Group of Companies of Davao in the Mindanao championship game on Sunday.
